Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the "SomebodyPostThis Scheduler" application ("the app", "we") handles data. The app is a personal tool used by the operator of the SomebodyPostThis channel to schedule and publish their own videos to their own social media accounts on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Information we access

When you authorize the app with a connected account — Google/YouTube, Instagram (via Meta), or TikTok — the app receives an OAuth access token that lets it, on your behalf:

The app only accesses the accounts of its own operator. It is not offered to or used by third parties, and it does not act on behalf of any other users.

How we use the information

The OAuth tokens and account data are used solely to publish the operator's own videos on a schedule. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to publishing the operator's content.

Google user data — Limited Use

The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer, sell, or share Google user data with third parties, and we do not use it for serving ads.

Meta (Instagram & Facebook) data

Our use of the Instagram and Facebook Graph APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. The app accesses only the operator's own connected Instagram professional account and the Facebook Page linked to it, solely to publish the operator's own videos. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

TikTok data

Our use of the TikTok Content Posting and Login APIs adheres to TikTok's Developer Terms of Service. The app accesses only the operator's own connected TikTok account, solely to publish the operator's own videos. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Storage and retention

OAuth tokens are stored locally on the operator's own machine (in the self-hosted scheduling software) and are used only to make API calls to the connected platforms. Tokens can be revoked at any time by the operator:

Revoking access immediately ends the app's ability to use that account.

Data deletion

The app does not store personal data on any server. The only data retained is the OAuth token for each connected account, kept locally on the operator's own machine. To delete it:

To request deletion or ask any data-related question, contact [email protected].

Data sharing

We do not sell or share any data with third parties. Videos are uploaded only to the operator's own connected accounts.
